In 2025, ArtsFund, in strategic partnership with SMU DataArts, embarked on the creation and execution of the Livability Impact Study of the Arts. This extensive and in-depth study aims to thoroughly explore a fundamental and thought-provoking question: How, and to what degree, does the presence of arts and culture within a community not only enrich and enhance the general livability of that community but also, more specifically, serve to significantly improve the lives of the residents of Washington state, fostering a deeper sense of connection, well-being, and cultural vitality among its diverse population?
